Yau-Chin Yang, LicAc., MAOM, PhD

 

Yau-Chin Yang holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in Newton, Massachusetts. Yau-Chin’s training included acupuncture and herbal medicine internships at Winchester Hospital Family Health Center in Wilmington, NESA clinic in Newton, and Pathways to Wellness in Boston, Massachusetts.

Yau-Chin Yang is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. He is also certified in acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Yau-Chin practices a Chinese style of acupuncture and uses a combination of acupuncture, acupressure, Chinese herbal medicine, and gua sha in his treatments.

Dr. Shahla Bastar, Lic. Ac., MAOM, DACM, DAOM (RI), is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She is a board-certified Diplomat of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, recognized by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
